No DC 4x4 V6 MT in SR trim either. Preferably in LB and Inferno, but just a DC MT 4x4 SR in boring color and stubby box would be fine here too.

Seeing how even base SR has more standard equipment that my 07 TRD and with the price increase on the '16s, SR is all I can afford and justify anyway. Plus SR comes with the nicest optional black alloys form the entire lineup by far.

Does anyone know whether there would be any savings to be had by doing a fleet purchase on the 2016 Tacoma through a company.

I could probably purchase one through a company if there is any savings in cost to be had.

I live in BC and the company has a GST number etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Any guys that work for a Toyota Dealership here in Canada that would be able to do a "Bulk" purchase for some of us Canucks if we can get a few purchasers together?

Jeff Lange, can you help out?

Not really my forte, unfortunately, but I can maybe ask around a bit.

I'm surprised there isn't a tilde wave of Americans coming over our border to purchase used Tacomas…or any vehicle for that matter…unless they are and I'm just not seeing it. I'd like to sell my 2012 Taco…get at least $30k CAD. For an American, that would equate to $22,600 US! Damn!

Honestly it would likely be too much of a pain for me to buy out of province with the trade and needing financing, but it'd be nice to buy from a dealer who actually gives a flying fuck whether or not they get my purchase. I hate this take it or leave it mentality from the ones around here. I might try and convince the lexus sales guy here to sell me a tacoma. I've spent hours shooting the shit with him while my taco is in for service. The Toyota guys usually brush me off when they realize I'm not buying, even when they're not busy, and this guy makes me wish I wanted to buy a Lexus from him (I'm sure he wouldn't provide much lube either, but at least I trust he'd make it feel worth it in the end)

Your right, it would not work for guys doing a trade but for those doing a cash deal with no trade it might fly.

Lol, I keep saying next time around I'll do it different and actually pay off the vehicle before buying a new one... maybe next time?

I just sent an email to Toyota Canada asking them why no Double Cab Off Road option here. Everyone should do the same. I will see if they get back to me with a standard form answer of blah, blah, blah, we value your business, blah, blah, blah......

Well here was their reply..... sigh lose confidence in them even more.

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

At the present time, we do not have any information available regarding the 2016 Tacoma. Traditionally, information, including brochures and pricing, is available closer to the launch date, which has not yet been announced. We suggest visiting our website www.toyota.ca from time to time; the website is updated as the information becomes available.

Although we are unable to provide the information that you have requested, we thank you for taking the time to write.

    Sincerely,

    Customer Interaction Centre
    Toyota Canada Inc.

Yah but I guarantee those first few off the production line have the most issues

    Best to wait

I'm very disappointed with the options in Canada.

    I wanted a 4x4 TRD Off-Road DBL Cab V6 w/ manual transmission.

I'd settle for the 4x4 Std Pkg DBL Cab V6 w/ manual transmission but even though that configuration is available at toyota.ca for the 2015 models I don't see it listed in the above pdf.

Isn't the trd sport still available in this configuration up here?
