Okay so i have a 2016 limited and was going over some numbers. The numbers I got were mostly from the brochures of that given country. All numbers are in LBS

    Towing: Canada 6000 America 6400
    (the sport has 6400)
Curb weight: Canada 4355 America 4480
Pay Load: Canada 950 America 1120
Gross vehicle weight Canada 5305 America 5600
    * GVW wasn't listed on the Canadian brochure so I added the Curb weight and the pay load*
Gross vehicle weight Rating Canada unlisted America 11360

So after reading those numbers, why are they different? I know the American has a 5' bed while the Canadian has a 6'Makes sense for the GVW but doesn't make sense for the curb weight.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

The different bed lengths aren't exclusive to each country.

Americans can have the 6ft bed too. That adds weight to the truck. That reduces all other figures (payload, towing etc).

Just stick by the numbers Toyota gave you for your truck and don't fret about it. They don't package the vehicles exactly the same from country to country.

I don't think Americans can get the 6 foot bed in the Limited in 2016. Couldn't find it in their brochuer
