I think they are calling it Limited because they are trying to limit sales of that particular model due to the price.

I'm sure Toyota is just trying to cash in on it. I'm surprised they didn't release a 1794 trim for the Tacoma with power seats, disc brakes, and all the other goodies people like to complain the Tacoma doesn't have and charge another $5K over the limited for that trim.

I'm curious what you guys think of 21200$ for my 2011 TRD sport double cab with 90k km thats what my stealership is giving me for it, at first I was happy with the value but now i'm thinking I might be getting the low end of the value.
After seing the price list for the 16's I'm going to try to sqeeze has much as I can out of them.

Check Canadian Black Book. It's a website that can give you a rough estimate for what your truck is worth on trade in your area. My area of the site is saying around here your truck should fetch $22K-$24K on trade.

You guys are getting hosed. On lot a 2012 DCLB Sport is worth at least 27K. Why would you accept 22K for it and let the dealer rape you two ways?

I am going to have to see what the Canadian Model of the Limited comes with when you can actually build one on the Toyota Canada site to what they are adding to justify the price, I have only seen US builds which are a little different than the Canadian ones.

I had budgeted for a $1500.00 increase in price for the 2016 Limited over 2015 prices so it looks to me like we are about $800.00 apart when you factor in the $2000.00 off of MSRP they have promised via email. It will be interesting to see what they say.

Are you doing a trade? Have they set the trade in value yet? See if they will give you $1500 more on trade maybe? Then if they offer you $1K more you are right where you want to be.

Starting tonight (nightdrop) the Tacoma's will be arriving. The GTA area will be getting them first followed each day with others heading North. This is for Ontario only. I'm not sure about other provinces.

Long bed is a must for me. Leather seats, navi, JBL sound and tech package.. I may have to scale back, but cannot compromise on the long bed, I'm buying it to transport my motorcycles and need the length and I don't need such a big truck.

Funny thing, I'm back to looking at the F150, but it's too damn big for my garage, it will fit with an inch to spare and will be a PITA every time I come to park it in there.

I was just offered $1,000 off MSRP for a 2016 Limited - no trade-in. Would love to get more!!! This will be my third vehicle from this dealership/salesperson.

Don't forget that Limited in Canada is the long bed, AND comes with the tonneau cover and the chrome side steps, whether you want them or not, so there's $1000 wasted right there if you don't want them, or can buy them from the aftermarket for less.

I get that people have to evaluate what driving a 2016 Tacoma is worth to them. Trade in or not.......almost $45k for a Tacoma is crazy talk. And I'm not bashing, as I have a Limited on order ($1k refundable deposit), I'm more disappointed. I think it may have got a little harder to get my wife to sign off on such a price.

    Hi Sterdog,

No trade, straight cash, no trade, no financing.

Hoping they will move on the document and delivery prep fees.

Well you have room then. The $2000 they are "giving" you is the $2000 cash incentive Toyota corperate is putting on. Don't let them convince you it's coming out of their own pocket.

Just an FYI. From a dealer standpoint the gross profit has shrunk from last year! This goes from the base model to the full load limited. :( Food for thought when your trying to beat up your dealer!

    Great,

Wanted a Canopy and wanted after market side steps, SS maybe, so now I have crap to sell if I decide to pull the trigger.
