    can't be

cause when I was looking at it I found the number for the CBSA and what not and then got connected to the tax portion of it etc and they said it doesn't matter.

Yes to bring a car from Japan it has to be 15 years.
But I wasn't looking at that. I've looked into it twice for that reason thought it might be just because of JDM, First time was a LEFT handdrive 94 supra. american spec that was for sale in New Jersey. Second time was a 1988 Audi 90 that I found online in texas. same case. CBSA told me as long as its 15 years or older all you pay is the GST.

Anything younger than 15 years you pay GST plus some other duty and tax on top of that you also need to get it to meet our DOT standards (Daytime runnings etc)

I'm with you on the long bed, plus with the DC it looks much more balanced IMO.

Which is why I'm sticking with the Sport with the Upgrade. I'll get aftermarket leather and probably an aftermarket tonneau. The Taco's aren't tall enough to require running boards.

Actually recently wrote off a 2012 F150, which is prompting this purchase. Love that it will fit into the garage. The bed is actually longer that what we had on the F150 when I go with the long bed. Not that I have motorcycles to transport but we have a ton of sports gear (bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, etc) where the long box will be far more convenient.

I stopped by the dealer today asking about it.
The sales rep said they dont have an official date.

They're expecting either late this month or early november

Probably due to the dollar. In my industry when the price of anything in the USA is lower due to a high dollar we always make better margins.

That all being said, even as a retailer, the argument that margins are tighter should mean less or no negotiation doesn't hold much water to the customer.

Are Limited purchasers going to be forced to take the Tonneau Cover and Side Steps?

The local dealer here just moved into a 40M Dealership so I don't think they are feeling any pain...:)

I believe the Sport with the Upgrade will include leather or at least it did last year.

To be honest with you, In our system it shows no mention of the Tonneau Cover and Side Steps being included at that price. I will have to wait and see on this.

I know some dealers here on the last gen Tacoma would take parts off to change the price. Usually they would never give list value back though. I know on my Sport I asked if they wanted the factory running boards. They offered me $50 so I sold them on Kijiji for $100.

When would you expect Toyota.ca to go live with 2016 build and price tool?

I just found out they accidentally quoted me the trade price for a 2012 access cab 6mt, their new price was 26,000$. Unfortunately they don't have any white or grey 2015 aclb trd OR 6mt left in Canada, so I'm now officially on the 2016 bandwagon! No longer am I on the fence!

It's an easy decision once all the 2015's are gone lol. I see a lot of guys waiting while the 2015's dwindle. The choice between generations new won't last long.

I know here in BC the 2015's are selling out fast. My local dealer said they sold 17 2015 Tacoma in the past month. they have about 3 left now

I think it's more like normal sales volumes. The funny thing is that the people in the know basically bought up the 15's they wanted early. The ones selling now are to people who probably don't even know a new truck is on it's way.

Yeah, they see the $2000 dealer discount and decent lending rate and take what they can.

    I just want my 2016!!
