Hard to believe I got my Limited for the same price as a Sport package, without the upgrade. I couldn't imaging spending another $6,000 for the same truck 2 years later.

I wonder what the spread from invoice to MSRP is? Normally isn't there about 7%

I want a dclb off road as well, but being Canadian we have to settle for a sport. The locking rear diff is the major item I want. My 2012 ram sport didn't come with one (was an option however, I just didn't add) and I vowed never again to own a truck without a locking rear diff. In off camber situations a 2wd with locking diff can outperform a 4x4 with open diff. I work in the woods for a living plus we gets feet and feet of snow each winter.....

At well over a grand installed, that's steep, why not a $450 option right from the factory like Ford/ram/gm?

Just complaining basically. There must be other options? Ones that cost less than arb?

That's not easy, and would cost a lot more, our dollar is crap, and I'd need to buy demo, plus state tax, then my provincial tax........

Just looked up ARB air locker for Tacoma, with compressor I'd be over $1800 in parts alone, then pay someone to install it. That is not a viable option.

I will still buy the trd sport, just voicing my concern over the lack of "customizing" Toyota Canada gives its customers on their trucks. I am use to domestic trucks where the options are as individual as their customers. End rant

Price for a Limited in BC:

    $44,275.00 - MSRP
$1730.00 - Frieght and Delivery (2015 Cost) 2016 Tacoma Cost Not Available Yet
$395.00 - Documentation Fee (2015 Cost) 2016 Tacoma Cost Not Available Yet
    $5530.00 - 12% BC Sales Tax
    $100.00 - Air Conditioning Tax
    $25.00 - Tire Eco Fee

    $52,055.00 - Total Cost

The sales rep I spoke with today said they did not have the Frieght/PDI/Documentation Fees for the 2016 Tacoma yet so we are using the old 2015 Tacoma numbers.

He says the Limited MSRP of $44275.00 is correct, but, does not include the Delivery Charges etc.

I have included the Frieght and Delivery Charges and the Documentation Fee in the Pre-Tax Amount and included the Air Conditioning and Tire Eco Fee in the after tax amount, if this is wrong I know someone here will pick it up.

So, OTD, with no Discounts, you are looking at $52,055.00.

All I can say is WOW!
