Canadian Price..??..Anyone..!!

Yeah each deal ship is getting 1 or 2 of the start, then they put in for allotment after that. My local has one coming in with another 6 in the following weeks. The first one is in the Toronto compound, the other 6 are on rail to Toronto compound.

 

I wonder how many are in the compound right now? I know mine is in there.

 

No Kidding, it's driving me nuts, I have a Limited sitting in solitary right now...

 

Probably everything for Ontario is sitting there right now. Wonder where the compound is exactly, must be a big ass place. You'd think it would be an open parking lot and people would see them.

 

Has he given you any idea as to when they will arrive..?? If you get such a good deal there, I may come over to the island and buy one there..

No reason you can't get 2000 off msrp regardless of trade in or not. I'm getting basically cost from friend who works there.

If you don't get a solid deal, shop it. Just keep taking the best deal you got to different dealers and they will match or beat it, unless it's below cost which you prob won't find.

 

First of all, are you in Canada or the US, secondly, if you are getting that deal in Canada, will your buddy give the same deal to other guys on this site, if he won't, your deal is not relevant, if he will, supply his name so we can all benefit, I am sure he would like to sell 4 or more Tacomas in 5 minutes.

If you are getting yours for just above cost (Dealer Cost I assume) you have access to one of the most closely guarded secrets in the Canadian Auto Industry.

Of note, currently, the 2015's are only $2000.00 of off MSRP so if you are getting "basically cost" on a 2016 Tacoma you are getting the Deal of the Century.

 

For what it's worth I was told that pricing should be available on the 5th and first trucks arriving at dealer on the 15th by the salesman at a BC dealer. I was told that it's totally realistic to get mine on or around the 17th after they have had time to do the paperwork and p.d.i. But according to his knowledge on Toyota and how they price, he expects each model to be around $2k more expensive than the 2015's. No idea yet what the Toyota interest rates will be. But I'd expect to see an increase there also.

 

Wow, I would really be surprised if they raise the price by $2000 for the 16s, normally it would be under $1000 but time will tell.

I don't know if anybody has actually seen one first hand....I've been chasing the Toyota press truck around the GVRD dealers and I've managed to track its next step if anybody is Interested. I think they are taking appointments to view.

 

A dealer here on the Island I spoke with when I was looking said he did not expect much of an increase at all so here we are with estimates of very little price increase to north of $2000.00 so it will be interesting to see where it all comes to rest....

Sounds like the dealers don't even know where things are going to settle out at...

Reminds me of the debate we saw on TW about the Gas Mileage, Torque, Horsepower numbers.
