It took a lot to get the $3429.00 off which the Dealership says is $500.00 over invoice, they also threw in any accessories at "Dealer Cost" so I am going to get the 3M Paint Protection Film...

I've never run Firestones before. Of course I've got a set of winters from an F150 sitting in the garage! Anyone know if 275/55r20s will fit on the Tacoma! Haha

 

I believe Toyota now has a dealer option of an auto starter? That'd be a great add-on if you could get it at cost. Congrats on the new truck, sounds like you did some great negotiating!

The Remote Auto Start would be a nice feature, esp. installed by the Dealer.

They have some pretty great reviews online, surprisingly. And you're 275/55/20 are only 17.1 mm (1.7 cm) bigger, or 4%, I was expecting much more, I'm sure they'll fit, not sure how great they'll run.

How much was your deposit and doc fee? I've heard some scary stories about people who think they're getting a deal, leave a large down payment, then get told doc fees are 1500$.

I think I'm getting worked up/anxious because I just got the call saying mine will be available for pickup on Thursday. Definitely should have bribed you to make my deal, I did better than msrp, but not a huge amount.

I had mine installed on my 12 at the dealer, I think it's the Autostart brand they use. It does the trick, not sure if they'll be willing to install one on a standard tho.

 

How would that work with the FOB? Do you get a second one?

 

Yep separate fob, kinda clunky, but for an extra 100 or 2 you could get the smartphone option. I think gm has that thru on star, people I know seem to like it. This one is rechargeable tho, which was a nice upgrade from the one I had on my xterra. Its integrated with the keyless entry, so I don't carry the toyota key fob.
