My dealers says after a lift (3") the parts are still covered EXCEPT for the control arm. So if they can link any problem to the control arm its not covered..very easy to get fucked here. All they gotta say is its linked to the control arm and nothings covered... nothings in writing either, so they say. I opted out for now till my 5 yr warranty is up. Might throw spacers on to give it a different stance tho

I sure hope so…I had a buyer at over $29,000, back to the drawing board.
Btw…your profile pic…looks like my future truck:)
Also to add to the warranty discussion…Cochrane Toyota are known for lifting the trucks, spacers, shocks, tires, the whole shebang. They are well known for it..might be worth the extra $3-4k.

Put some side steps on yesterday. I got them from the Toyota dealer. I think they make the truck look a little nicer.

I thought i had a good deal on both those
i got the extended warranty for $1,200 and the protection kit for $800.. For some reason because of these purchases it brought my interest rate down a bit. So with cost of borrowing and the price of the car with a lower interest rate, my total was still cheaper than without the 2 warrantys and a higher rate. So i figured they gave me the extended warranty, the cool rust inhibitor and 8 oil changes for free...plus $1,500 off from a sepperate discount. Still though the price is high, but its because your getting the most reliable auto maker on the market. So im happy

I'm going to the Launch Event for the 2016 Tacoma at Lethbridge Toyota. Let me be clear that I will not be buying one. However, I can't pass up the free detailing and food that will be available if I test drive one. I'll report back with what the dealership tries to give me for numbers when I ask.

Thanks for putting your sales agreement up. Good work on getting that price. Right off the top, it looks as though you got $1574 off the sticker (listed price is $44,275 versus your $42,701) plus freight and documentation is listed as $1,850 but you have $395....another $1500 off. Are you not required to have a block heater? There's another $450. All in all, we will be paying the same, and I'm in Alberta...meaning no PST. Like for like you got the truck for about $3k less than what I was quoted. Nice work. How did you swing it....

I ended up getting $3429 off of MSRP which now includes Freight/Delivery/PDI here in BC, but you are right, when you factor in tax savings it is more.

I had put $5000.00 down (Fully Refundable) and when the MSRP was finally published I told them it was too much money, they said they could not go any lower than $2000.00 off of MSRP, I said I understood that so could I please have my deposit back that I was going to go buy a Ford for less money.

They asked if they could have a day to talk to the Dealer Principle, I said sure, and they came back with $3429.00 off of MSRP, so I said "sold".

I love the truck and I hope these numbers help other folks get better deals, hopefully better than my deal!
