Canadian roll call.

There used to be a club out west....CT4WD or something like that. It was certainly a Toyota centric club. They had a facebook page at one time. I dropped it because it was all out west...... and I am on the other coast.

It's dead. Basically the owner felt there was lots of drama internally and it needed to end. The owner shut it all down. At one point he said they would keep the main forum up as a memory but it was quickly deleted as well.

There is at least one club/forum that has a few of the guys from CT4WD but is a lot looser of an organization and is, for now, pretty much Calgary based. UntitiledOffroad.com . I'm a member there. I can't say it's always 100% drama free but it is a local out west club that has a few BC members as well and does do runs for almost every level.

 

What about starting an informal South Island group? From the look of it there are at least a dozen guys in greater Victoria up to Nanaimo.

 

There's one on which is fairly active. My truck is stock until this April when I will be installing an OME lift (new tires come next fall as well). So I am always down for some trails that are stock friendly.

 

NBFJCruz you should join Untitled Offroad so I'm not the only East coaster on there!

Joel Ellis (http://www.ellisprecision.ca/) started a FJCruiser Canada page on FB. It seems to have a bunch of left coasters signing in. Joel is in BC. And makes some pretty cool Tacoma accessories too. I have his shifters and love them in my FJ.

 

I looked into your Untitled Offroad. Nice website for sure but I don't need another group based a million miles away....lol. I am 10hrs from my own club and that is bad enough. Hanging around TW I atleast stand a chance of meeting someone in my time zone....lol

I usually have to drive 4 hours to go on any UntitledOffroad run. Then again I've made some good trail buddies on there and it's really helped me to learn from the people I've met so it's all been well worth it. Plus we have managed to scrounge together enough people local to me to have a few small dinner bar food meets down in this area.

Yessir, CT in the winter, starting to fabricate Taco parts/start my ecomm business at Niagara College in early March and Whirlpool Jetboat tours in the summer.

 

Nice rig you got I just live around the corner from CT. Every time I go there I make it a point to park beside your taco.

No it's black. I have a hard top tonneau cover on it and I have led tail lights on it.
