I have been scouring Kijiji for a set of 2022 Sport OEM 17" wheels for winter use on my truck that I don't even have yet...lol. I inquired about a set of new take offs at a dealer in a neighboring province. The parts guy said they were off a manual transmission truck so they don't have TPMS sensors.I was surprised to hear this, the parts guy should know, but is anyone else aware of this?

My 2017 does not have TPMS despite it being listed as a standard feature when I bought. I am fine with that. No need to reprogram or buy custom clone sensors for the twice a year winter tire change over. In Canada, TPMS is not a requirement.

My concern is without the sensors the light will be on in Sport Premium...black tape over the light won't help my OCD...and I check my air pressure daily now on the dash with my OR premium.

I know a lot of people dog on TPMS but I really don't mind it, came with my TRD OR automatic. It's nice to know exactly how much the pressures drop and how much to fill before I drive too much when it goes from -10 to -50`C in a night and it's too god damn cold and dark until 9am for me to dick around with a pressure gauge.

Yes, Canadian 6MT 3rd gens don’t have TPMS. I was surprised because my 2015 6MT had it, but it’s nice not having to worry about winter wheel and tire swaps and the annoying light coming on all winter.

    ^ This.
No TPMS nonsense on MT trucks in Canada. I was stoked when I found that out before my truck was delivered. I detest TPMS.
    ‘21 AC OR MT here.
