Anyone in Canada have the park sense with the TRD Sport/OR? I have the rear camera, but no sonar when backing up. It does have the rear cross traffic alert, so I assume all the hardware is there - but I do not have the button and have not located any option to turn up the sound when backing up. What did you guys have come with your truck?

In alberta canada all the extras come in a package, the upgrade package includes moonroof, rear cross traffic alert, and sonar. If you have one you most likely have the others.
No idea how to screw with the settings. Hopefully someone else can chime in better than i.

Yeah, I've got the TRD Sport Upgrade Pkg..... The "park assist" is not on Cdn trucks... Just the Cross Traffic alert and BSM....
Notice the US trucks have 4 "sonar" sensors in the rear bumper that are real visible... The BMS sensors are located "behind" the plastic bumper and sense thru it... The park assist sensors are very visible in the bumper.

I think Toyota felt that Canada was less populated and more "frontier-like" and did not need to parallel park.... We Canadians park our dog teams and snowmobiles so we don't have to back out, right..??

Only on the limited. If you look on the rear bumper of a limited you will see the sensors in the bumper. And you will have the switch to turn it on and off.

Do you need to know, or care?
Yes, I have a Limited with sonar. You don't need it. Camera is good enough.

A front sensor or camera would be more useful.

Plus the hood is high I prefer a downward sloping hood.
