Canceling my '21 allocation if anyone is interested in it

Have had some things come up on the home front and will likely be letting my order go since it was not a need. Wanted to let folks on here know before I call the dealer.
Details:
Location: Charlie's Toyota Augusta, ME
Truck: '21 TRD OF DCLB 4x4, Silver w/ Premium OR & tech package, LED lights, mud guards, all-weather liners/sill protectors and bed lights.
Temp VIN: 5TFDZ5BNXMX31A459
Scheduled build date of 8/2 w/ delivery quote of ~2wks post build.
MSRP: $44,911

 

Have you talked with your dealer about that?
They might be an ass about it & refuse to refund your deposit, ....... and decide to mark-up that truck for more profit.

 

I've not spoken with them yet and they may make a stink of the $500 deposit that was explicitly stated as refundable. If they make a stink, I will as well. However, I do not suspect it'll come to that. What they choose to do after I walk away is their prerogative. Trust me, I don't want to walk but I have a '17 SR5 that has zero issues and checks all my needs.

At this time, the money would be better utilized elsewhere.
