    Yeah...right before Big Dogs :anonymous:

I still have the old rings that I would consider flat grey rather than aluminum like they're supposed to be. The new ones are shiny, but they do have some rash.

Great looking truck man! When you cut your exhaust, have you noticed an fumes getting into cab or did it change the pitch of the exhaust? Thanks

I'm reasonable with price if you want them, just let me know.

No fumes, it's well beyond the cab. I did notice the sound of my exhaust was not as loud, at least to me, but I believe that was because I cut off the TRD tip which acts as a resonator.

Anyone have advice for lubing where the bed mounts to the frame? And/or cab bushings? I covered the cab mounts when I applied the fluid film but I think the bed mounts got film in them because my truck is a creaking monster right now.

Didn't know you had these issues :(

    Yeah...creaks like a mofo... :(

    Just the one change :)

SCS F-5 Matte Gunmetal 16x8-4.5" BS! I was gonna wait for new tires but that will be another 2 years or so, so I'm just gonna put the TX Pro's up for sale and mount the F-5's now.

How have ya been? Haven't seen you around in a while.

Anyone have any advice on lubing the bed mounts? I'm about to go insane with this creaking. I was thinking about trying to get in there with just some soap and water but not sure if it will work.

My front driver UCA is also creaking, not sure if it's the bushing I fucked up or if it's the uniball. Unsure if I should pump some more grease into it because it's already a little bulgy.

Try washing them with simple green and water. Just spray them lightly and rinse thoroughly. I'm certain in all the times i've washed my frame, that i'v gotten simple green on the mounts and mine don't creak at all.

All else fails, you can make a new thread about it :)

Never heard of it but it looks to just be a general cleaner and/or degreaser? We have degreaser at the firehouse so may spray that after trying soap/water and see if it helps.

Thats pretty much what it is. I use it to cut grime on vehicles because it doesn't hurt your skin and lungs like most degreasers, and it doesn't harm plastics and rubbers. You just have to make sure you delute it or rinse very thorroughly because all degreasers are somewhat corrosive.

You may also have heard of "Mean Green" or "Orange Degreaser" these are similar but not what i prefer....i'd rather wash my garage floor with those products lol.

I just sprayed 409 (had it laying around) on the bed mounts on the frame and drove my grandpa to dinner, the squeaks seem to be gone, or at least for the most part.

Seems like it did the trick...you think they would be corrosive on the frame, the bed mounts aren't on bushings like the cab are?

Have you re torqued the bed mounts? I had a squeaky cab mount due to a loose mount.
