May or may not have beaten an M5 in a little 1/4mi action in B mode.

Then I finally swapped over to Standard mode a little while after and got a Camaro with ease.

This was all done on a certified track of course :spy:

Also, not sure if it was just the front wheel picking up a bit or if I need a steering stabilizer because I get a decent amount of shake in the bars when really putting the hammer down sometimes, sometimes even in the straights.

In Europe its the MT-09. Mt stands for Maximum Torque. Ive read that the ebay stabilizers are not bad. I plan on buying one when i get around to it. If you get the Graves one, its $500 and you have to raise the bars to fit it

Ordered TST flush front and rear turn signals (and flasher relay and PNP converters) as well as the CRG bar end mirrors with my birthday money.

Cut the little plastic piece that sits below license plate. I put a canvas toolbag behind the fender but I was still scared shitless I was going to cut my tire, knowing my luck. Luckily all went well and it does look a little cleaner.

I also installed the Rhinomoto bar ends, the CRG mirrors were supposed to be here yesterday but USPS says Transit-Delayed, but I think the mirrors and all the TST goodies will be here today. I won't have time to install the TST stuff until maybe Tuesday or Thursday since I just got promoted at work and my schedule is now screwed up.

I'm gonna try and get the mirrors on tonight if they deliver and I'll post a picture.

    TST stuff came in.

And found out what the issue was with the CRG mirrors delivery. I made a bonehead move and accidentally combined my old address (moved in May 2016...) and my new one, so I took the numbers from the new and words from the old, but I guess since I used my new zip code, it did ship to my closest post office. Called USPS to see if pick up or updating address was an option instead of returning to sender, and the lady said she was too busy and was going to call back...never called back so I'm going to try again tomorrow...

Worst part is I've done the address thing with orders before but I always have caught myself before I checkout...didn't catch it this time :homer:

USPS recently made it to where you can edit delivery preferences on their site. Might be worth it to create an account and see if it pops up :notsure:

    Teasers...

I'll post better pictures and a review of the install and mods themselves by Tuesday, don't have time today.

Ordered a R&G radiator guard, and a K&N oil filter for the next oil change. I'll pick up some Mobil 1 synthetic at Advance Auto soon also.

Also ordered a new can of the Maxima chain cleaner and wax I use.

I'll post better pics of the new turn signals and mirrors tomorrow hopefully.

Yeah I've seen some of the side panel options, might be a possibility later but I only had enough on the Amazon gift card from my brother for the stuff I already got.

    CEL on today...

Gonna call local dealer tomorrow to see what they recommend. Oil level's good, bike starts up and sounds fine, but I'm worried to ride it to see if the light goes away.

Realistically it has to have something to do with the turn signal install since it just popped on but not sure. Some forum posts talk about when the battery loses charge or is replaced and the light kicks on but I don't think that's the issue with mine. I tried jiggling all the wiring under the seat as well as disconnecting the battery for a bit and reconnecting but the light stays on. Also saw a post on the light being kicked due to a "faulty" engine stall code if something funky happens with the lean sensor or kickstand kill switch, so maybe the dealer can check and clear the code if I ride down there.

I was off today and it was the best damn weather it's been all year.

Towing to dealer on Saturday to figure it out. They disabled self-diagnosis on 2017+'s so only way to check it is the proprietary tool from Yamaha that only certified dealers have, so have to go to Coleman. I called Yamaha and asked if my warranty would be affected if I tried to ride it to dealer and something internal happened with the bike, and they said in so many words that they wouldn't recommend it, so I'm just going to be safe and tow it.

If it has to do with the turn signals then obviously I have to pay to fix anything or fix it myself but not going to risk warranty even if it's something dumb like the faulty engine stall or kickstand error code like the forums have indicated it might be. Didn't clear after disconnecting battery either.
