I believe my dad got the "Platinum Toyota Service Agreement" or some such when we bought the truck, so all my services have been at the dealer. I think the 45,000 service is just an oil change and quick inspections, could be wrong.

    30K, 60K, 90K, 120K, etc are the big ones I think.

Typical stealership but they get the job done for services, I don't trust them for anything else.

I have the bed creaking as well, and was wondering how your fix has held up until now?

The creaking I think is from my bed bolts where Fluid Film got in. The dry lube makes it go away for about a week at a time.

Check your rear leafs, that's where most people get the creaking from.

Yeah then it's the same crap I have. Like I said, the lube helps for about a week at a time.

Just looked at my tires and it looks like I only have 5K-10K miles left in them, especially if I'm going to take it to some more trails since I have the dirt bike now. I looked back and I mounted them almost two years ago to the day, and they had about 5K-10K miles on them before I bought them. So based on my normal annual driving amount, they have close to 20-25K on them. I think I could probably stretch them to 35K but we'll see as I put more miles on them how they start to wear as they get lower.

I was planning on getting the Cooper ST Maxx's since the KM2's are being discontinued but I was thinking about just getting KM2's again since I like them and they haven't let me down yet. The true M/T nature of the KM2's is a little silly for most my driving but I do really like having the capability of them when I do put them to use. Coopers would do just fine though in any terrain as the KM2's though I think.

I also already have the full size spare in KM2 and it would kill my "OCD" to have a different model tire as the spare if I got the Coopers...

    KM2's:
    • Out of stock at Tread Depot
    • $869 at 4WheelParts
    • $928 + shipping at Tire Rack
    • Out of stock at Amazon
    • $982 at Tire Crawler
    • $1096 at Tires Easy
    • $1184 at Discount Tire (emailed about lower prices)
    • $971 at Tire Buyer ($911 with instant discount, limited time)
    • $1020 at Simple Tire
    Cooper ST Maxx's:
    • Out of stock at Tread Depot
    • 4WheelParts doesn't stock Cooper's
    • Tire Rack doesn't stock Cooper's
    • $948 at Amazon
    • $932 at Tire Crawler
    • $902 at Tires Easy
    • Discount Tire doesn't stock ST Maxx
    • Tire Buyer doesn't stock ST Maxx
    • $900 at Simple Tire

Check tire buyer as well. I got my Nittos through them and my coopers through tires-easy. There is also simple tires as well.

$900-$902 for the Coopers at Tires Easy and Simple Tire if I go with the Coopers. The KM2's are super cheap at 4WheelParts at $869.

Subbed! I'm in the works of trading some stuff for a CRF450 so if it works out we could hit some trails! :bikewhoops:

Keep the truck if you plan to get into dirt biking. Or even if you just start traveling to go to rides.

And the mod bug never goes away. Lol

Yeah I'm keeping the truck for now since it's paid off, doesn't make any financial sense to get into a new vehicle right now. Down the line, I might trade to get another Tacoma or something and not do as many crazy mods with it so it's better suited for DD'ing and hauling, rather than like what mine is right now with the short bed and swing gate in the way. But I can overcome stuff like that with a hitch mount like I'll get. But probably will just keep this till it breaks

And I'll always have motorcycles to DD with :)

Ordered the Pelfrey relocation mount for my rearview camera so it's not just bolted to the license plate bracket.

It gets in the way when you fold the plate up also so I need to move it for when I get a motorcycle hitch mount.

Wait till DTD has sales on their ebay page. They have $100 off of a $400 order pretty often. I did two orders for my ST Maxx's and got them for $200 off. That was the best deal I could find at the time, which was March 2015 IIRC.
