i dont smoke it, but i wouldnt be opposed to it being legalized and taxed. it would also require rules like alcohol

they said if they put regulations on it and sold it with a taxt we could be out of our deficit in around 3 years. im not a big pot head i have smoked had a few crazy times and if it was legal im saying more power to it no more problems with people selling poopy shit or laced shit for giggles. it would be safer. hell not only do i think my entire school tokes but some of my friends parents still do. its less harmful to you then getting drunk you know that right.

actually, yeah it does. i'm a libertarian, so as far as i'm concerned, legalize everything. just cause i dont do stuff doesn't mean others shouldn't have the choice to do it. i think everything should be legal UNTIL IT ENDANGERS ANOTHER PERSON. for example, if you want to do coke, do coke. do heroine, i dont care, its your body not mine, you can put whatever you want in it. but the second you get behind the wheel under the influence of ANYTHING you should go to jail for 10 years minimum. second offense should be life. i know that sounds harsh but i'm all for only having a few rules and the punishments being severe instead of having countless pointless rules with a fine, or 30 days in prison.

I dont care either way. I am older and have gotten it out of my system. I dont see it as that big of a problem and think people should be givin the option of using it responsibly but If that doesnt happen so be it. The medical pot thing is kind of a scam a lot of people that are not sick have cards. I got tired of breaking the law and just gave in and became a drinker. I have too much to lose at this point in my life. I guess everyone grows up eventually.

hahaha! what you said about america being retarded for 3 to 5 years is dead on! if it were legal americans wouldn't know what to do so they'd just sit around getting stoned and raiding the fridge.

and yes, driving high is just as bad as driving drunk. it should be legal but it should be treated like booze. a legal age, restrictions, and steep penalties for driving while stoned

i agree. there is nothing chemically addictive in playing cards or poker chips but there are plenty of betting addicts out there. everyone is different but you can't protect people with addictive personalities, they have to protect themselves. i have a somewhat addictive personality and i have to always be aware of it

me. assuming the government doesn't make those illegal too...

you know where i stand on the topic. all i'll say is you bring up some very good counter points in your post
