Ok after messing with my hellas for way too long they still wont turn on..im trying to set it up so that i dont have it wired to high or low beam just so it turns on and off with the switch..does that turquoise wire they give you HAVE to be used for them to work? i have them connected right to my battery and switch but left the last prong on the switch empty cuz thats where the turquiose wire goes..is that the problem?

I think you need to attach the turquois wire to a constant/switched hot power supply. Thats how it would work with hi or low, you tap the wire that only gets power through it after you hit the high beams, so if you want to turn them on whenever it would need to be a constant hot source.
At least thats my logic. I'm no wiring master by any means though

You dont have to use the lights to power it, just use a power source that that turns off and on with the ignition, cigarette lighter ect. Switch has to be grounded also, then load wire to relay from switch. Power from battery to to relay, ground relay, then from relay to lights.
