I've talked to all the dealers in my area and they all say this is not available. I am looking for a V6 blue with the SR package. Its listed in the Tacoma brochure on page 20. Any ideas why I cant find/get this?

A picture in that brochure doesn't really mean much. It's not a catalog, just a brochure that's loaded with disclaimers about how the pictures don't mean anything.

From what I've been seeing/reading, along with some others here on TW, is that the Blue Ribbon Metallic (BRM) isn't very common. That may be anecdotal, or not. Doesn't really answer your question much, sorry.

On one hand I understand but on the other, why put a picture of something in a brochure if it doesn't exist?

Probably because the person/company designing the brochures knows nothing about the actual vehicles, unfortunately.

It might be out there and the dealership is too lazy. When i was searching for mine I wanted a base model 4 door in white. Two dealerships said theres no way I can get one. The third said he could have one at the dealer in a week granted it was across the country. Usually they just want to sell you whats in stock.

Brochures have to be printed and available before the cars are even built. Some pictures in the 2015 catalogue are from 2014 and 2013 models.

Why have photos of features that are completely unavailable in 2015 in 2015's brochure? (p. 14) Those brochures are likely in production long before actual vehicles for that year are available for photo shoots. So they're older vehicles, or renderings (the pics you're looking at).

Just did a quick search. I see LOTS of BRM SR5s out there, but no SRs... interesting. :notsure:

Edit: wanna_taco types faster than me

sometimes you just have to play hardball. Tell your dealer what you want and call you when it arrives

New for 2015 They look great and have nice features.

And to the op just tried to build your truck on Toyotas web page and I can't do the blue with the sr package. Just the basic colors.
I can get the blue with the trd package but not the sr.

    New as of 2014*

Have your dealer search for "SN" on the options list. They are starting to show up here in the midwest/east coast but in very limited numbers.

I haven't seen any blue SR's only red, white, silver, MGM, and black.

I stand corrected:D Do you think he can special order one? Even though on there web sight you can't make one Im sure they can make something work. I know different regions do different things. I guess where Im from the sr5s come with TRD OR rims like mine did.

Which configuration are you looking for? AC or DC (long or short bed), stick or auto, prerunner or 4x4?

I tried a few for the OP but the Blue he wants only seems to come with the TRD packages and he wants the SR.

Is it possible to get just the SR headlights? They are factory BHLM right?

yes the part number is somewhere around here on TW. They aren't exactly like the BHLM more of a chrome-ish gun metal look.
