Huf intellisens (uvs3030) claims to have a new configurable sensor that works for 3rd Gen, I'll report back when I get them on.

Just tell them that Toyota said they will not work with the new trucks and ask for a refund for the sensors. They would rather out the new ones on than give back money.

    Just an update.

I dropped the truck off Tuesday with my tire shop and got called at 11am asking me if I could come back on Wednesday. I went back on Wednesday and got a call at 3pm asking me to come back next Tuesday. I walked in, literally told the guy to fuck off, yelled and hollered, asked to see the GM (this is a fairly large GM dealership that has a tire shop associated with it), told the GM my issue and basically said I was going to Toyota to get them to fix it, and he'll get a bill today from them. He agreed.

I will never, as long as I live, spend a dollar with Vaughn motors based out of Bunkie Louisiana again.

I told them that if they were the last dealership left in this world and I was on foot, I would walk until I died before purchasing a single thing from them.

I'm currently sitting at Toyota on their dollar and will give an update when it's finished.

So the tire shop evidently broke 2 sensors and tried to replace them with aftermarket. Ontop of that the other 2 Toyota sensors are not reading. The technician says that if you replace 1 with aftermarket, you have to replace all 4 because Toyota sensors will not get in sync with aftermarket. No questions (his words).

They replaced all 4, and despite some individuals beliefs, it was all put on the Vaughn Motors account. Not a dime out of my pocket.

    Case closed.

Funny because they don't just put stuff on an account. When the tire shop refuses to pay the dealership who do you think they are going to come after next. If it were me I'd ask for the aftermarket sensors and the other OEM ones back and take it to them for proof

    Best luck

So a local GM dealership wouldn't have an account with a local Toyota dealership? I beg to differ.

It would be a doozy to meet the General Manager of the GM dealership/tireshop in court though, as he's my neighbor and we share the same attorney who lives across the street.

The perks of living and doing business in small town Louisiana, where educated retards do business with other educated retards.

Usually a PO is required with authorization. Even if they have a great relationship which I doubt because if they did instead of using aftermarket sensors they would of just used the Toyota ones which they would of bought from them. They could still refuse and dispute the charges. Hopefully since they knew they fucked up, they just eat it and call it a day. Anyways, glad it's all working now

Well here's my latetest rant/ update.. after getting Les Scwhab to refund the after-market sensors they sold me,that would not read to my taco, I went back to my Toyota dealer. Bought new sensors,(OEM) and my truck computer can still not read them!!! At a total loss now. Many hours spent in the local shop to figure out why I cannot have a warning light/ pressure gauge figured out!!!! This is becoming very frustrating!! I guess it is because I live in a small town?????....

I am sure that i am late to the party here, and no i did not read all three pages of the thread before i am posting this.... The exact same thing happened to me. Turned out that they broke one of mine upon install. If one doesn't work, none of them will display. Hope that helps.

The OEM sensors that you have now, did they program them into the truck? That needs to be done.

    Stan,
Yes. That was what they were trying to do for 3 hours yesterday. Turns out that the parts guy at Toyota may have ordered the wrong part number. New different sensors on their way. This will be the 3rd set in 3 weeks. Fingers crossed this will be the end of it. I wonder what kind of beating my tires and wheels are taking with all these constant changes?

can you have 8 programmed in?

I'm just thinking I was going to buy an additional set for my Konigs. Using the factory rims for my winters and then konigs for coopers.
Can the 8 be programmed then just do the adaption procedure when I swap between tires?
Or do I need some sort of programmer
