Just purchased and put on a snuptop super sport canopy. I have a 2012 AC 4x4 V6 TRD Off Road.

I thought that handling would be similar once I put the canopy on, but now the truck now feels very weighted with much more roll. Is this common? It feels like I am towing around a small boat now. Can this be corrected with a suspension upgrade?

    Thanks for your help

I can see that it would make a little difference but feeling like towing is severe. I assume you have the stock 3 leaf rear suspension. You can get the TSB springs (search on TW) and that will help a lot with the body roll. If you still want a stiffer rear you can get an add a leaf or a whole new spring pack ($$).

I would start with the TSB rear springs and go from there.

    Congrats on the new truck!

I didnt really notice any difference myself. But I had the spring TSB done the week before I picked my shell up. I would look into that first.
