I paid $1600 base for the 100XR in Tennessee, $125 for removable front sliding window and $220 for rack tracks. Carpet headliner was free with coupon.

Yep. Wanted the windoors really, really bad, but would have been about $450-500 more. Had to stop at $2K

Oh no. This might stop me from buying a topper too. I like the windoors.

Umm that's not a Leer 100XR. Am I the only one who has noticed this?

I have a 100XR and it doesn't look anything like that

What about it looks off to you? Looks dead on to every 100XR I've seen so far on a '16, with optional vented windoors obviously.

If you look at the 100XR on the Leer website and browse the example photos you'll notice about half of them have hidden hinges. My guess is that's just what they're doing now.

I looked at the 100XR this weekend, and the salesperson confirmed that the visible hinges have been replaced by hidden hinges on current production.

Did that include windoors? Are the windoors the side folding glass?

You can get a V-Series A.R.E. with their version of windoors, which they call "Outdoorsman Windoors" and stay in the $2K range. V-Series A.R.E. caps start at about $1200 before adding options. I had to go with the Leer for the back door/window, as well as a couple other details that I like.

I just picked up a 100XR and they have the hidden hinges now, the thing that took me awhile to get use to was the back window which is seems smaller and has a bigger gap between the top of the window and the top edge of the window opening on the canopy.

On the old style 100XL the gap was about one half inçh, on the new one it is about one and one half inches, almost like they have used a one size fits at window.

Leer says it is to allow for the hidden hinges, personally I don't like the look.

Interestingly in the Leer Video they show the old and new style rear window with the closeups of the closed window being of the old style.

I can't find it anywhere on Leer's site...do they offer led strip lighting like ARE? those are sweet.

I don't think so. Just an LED dome light.

They must have redesigned that model. My mistake. My 100XR side windows look completely different. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1454635427.241798.jpg
