So I connected my iPhone and get texts and it pops up when my phone rings but when I try to answer it won't go through the trucks mic/audio. I can't figure out how to get it to work. Any help?

You’re not listening to the radio are you? I believe when you select audio on your screen it has to be on Bluetooth otherwise audio would be played through phone. If that’s not it I was unpair and pair. Good luck.

Yep radio was playing. That's dumb if it won't work that way.

I haven't tried the phone features on the native system so I don't know. I always just plug the cable in and use CarPlay. It's a lot nicer for phone, text, maps. etc.....I do know though I have the BT connected and the wired for CarPlay at the same time and CarPlay works just fine. I also like that you can use CarPlay and Sirius/XM for the music at the same time. I will try answering the phone without using CarPlay later on when I have two phones handy and post the results.

Update: I just tried it and it all works fine. Had the phone connected via Bluetooth and listening to a playlist on my phone. I call my phone from another cell I add. It popped up as an incoming call on both the head unit and the info display. I tried answering it in both places and was able to just fine. I went into setup to see if I could find anything that would keep it from working but didn't find anything.

When you have the phone connected via BT can you play music from your phone? You may have to go into source of course and change it to BT. I am sure you know this but just trying to help...

My BT connects until I plug the iphone in and then it switches to CP. Still trying to finger out the new tech.

And that is the way it should work but I believe the phone is still connect via BT as well. Pretty sure I went into setting at one point and it showed connected still. That is how if you go to "audio" and choose the course as BT it will play the same song as what you kicked off in CarPlay.

My blue icon disappears when CP kicks in. Also says “audio player disconnected” which seems correct.
