I didn't even have to hammer or anything the three prong Puller did its job and the UBJ was left intact.

Same here. With my 2 jaw puller and a little pb blaster it was very effortless to get it separated. I literally had the joint separated, boot replaced, and back together in less than 15 min.

Yeah I was beating on it like heck and it didn't budge... finally I decided id do some redneck engineering and put a 2 by 4 under the upper control arm and dropped the jack some... it popped right off with one hit from a hammer. I did put my tire and a jack stand under there just in case. May be a little dangerous but it worked for me.

Luckily, last time I took mine off, I was replacing the UCAs/BJs with uniballs, so I just :sawzall:

If you use the 3-arm puller, it helps to take some bailing wire or something and wrap it around the arms and tighten it down. This will (help) prevent the arms from popping off under extreme loads.

It fit for me but that's because I have one that's larger size. I was just showing an example more so of style. I was able to find one a while back that can expand a lot further to fit. I don't remember where from, but yea I was just showing the style.

The 3 arm puller is easy peasy as well...more than one way to skin a cat
