Hi, I'm very new to this forum thing and getting a little frustrated navigating around the site. It's probably pretty simple, but I just need some tips. I filled out all the new member introduction stuff, but I don't see it when i go to the introductions page.

    It WAS sweet.

Hit a 5x5 buck with my 06 tac on the way to moose hunting. The air bags went off and the truck stalled. I couldn't open the doors so we had to crawl out the windows. We took a few pictures, crawled back into the truck, fired it up and drove away without a wobble and continued on our way just a little bit late. BUT... The autobody shop is assessing it right now and so far it's at $14,000 damage! It may be a write off. You would never know by the pictures. My next truck is definatly getting an ARB. To be able to drive away after hitting a deer in the middle of nowhere with no cell service is priceless! And I got my moose!

Thats wild man! Yeah them bastard deer are out to get ya. I've never had any close calls with my old 78 Bronco because it is a beater, but my Tacoma have had many, deer seem to be attracted to shiny, nice and expensive objects haha. Sucks about your truck though, crazy how one lousy ass deer can do that much in damage, makes me really wanna save for a ARB too!
