So the problem was with the o2 wideband sensor or the basic o2 sensor? Nearest or furthest from the block??

Thread revival! My truck threw same code today. I am not suprised that tw saves my hide again. I dont know what I would do if it wasn't for everyone on here besides lose way more money. Checked everything over and found a small hole in one of my vac lines. Changed it out for a new one, cleared the fault and no problems for about 50 miles so far. After seeing the cost of upstream A/F sensors vs. price of vac lines I had to say thank you to everybody on TW.

THREAD REVIVAL #2: My 2015 Tacoma V6 threw both P0174 and P0170 codes. Took over 2 hrs to diagnose at Toyota dealer. Thought it was bad gas. Gas tested ok. Turned out to be fuel pump only putting out 18 psi and should be 45-48 psi so there's the culprit. As of the date of this thread the cost will be just over $1200 with tax to replace because they have to drop the tank and empty it. I should have known better and not filled up after throwing the code. Hopefully someone will learn from my mistake. Currently just over 110K miles and parts don't last forever. However, I had better luck with a Ford Ranger at 185k miles all original parts except normal stuff like pads, shoes, filters, ect. It's hit and miss really. I guess it's time over 100K. Starting to think if I should have bought aftermarket warranty to cover over 100k miles. Too late know.

    got p0174 code today.
learn something new everyday. thought there were 4 o2 sensors when actually 2 on bottom/downstream are 02 and 2 on top are air fuel ratio sensor/upstream (more expensive ones).

4 yrs ago i got p0157 which was bottom/downsteam fixed by changed it w Denso 234-4261

I cleaned out my MAF w CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner. if doesnt work may replace the sensor since its was swapped from my other toyota. Next step would be change the A/F ratio sensor if no good could be hose leak somewhere or maybe fuel pump since my gas guage stopped at 1/8 (could be related maybe/maybe not)

CRC 05110 Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner
