I guess I'm somewhat worthy, been in this thread before, totally forgot all about it.

Lol, I don't think I ever made it past the first few. Maybe tomorrow while on my 8 hour Zoom "clinical".

Don't bogart the process and skip to the end. Trust to the process.

Step 1. Read the whole thread. All of it. Start to finish.
Step 2. Along the way, acquire unicorn. Purchase, discovery, open theft - these do not matter. Only having the unicorn matters.
    Step 3. Achieve enlightenment.

    The process works.

Tomorrow is OB (women's health), Tuesdays is Peds, Friday is Community health. Since the hospitals aren't taking students right now, we do simulated clinical (pt scenarios, etc.) on ZOOM for 8 hours, until we can return to our clinical sites.

Right on, congrats!! Hope everything gets better. I just graduated from Saddleback last week. I got a preceptorship placement in the ER and then the day before I started, hospitals shut down for students because of the virus. The simulations were a drag but we got through it. Hope you can finish up your hours and get to the finish line!

Ditto, not sure if this thing keeps going how they plan to adjust for hours, but I mean they do need new nurses, as long as I can sit for the NCLEX in Dec/Jan no worries, I'll work COVIDlandia or bedside. Yes these sims are pretty terrible and can't replace hands on clinical experience, but oh well. Congrats man! And good luck on NCLEX.

thank you! And just a heads up, it sounds like the schools submit all paperwork to the BRN, but it can take about 6 weeks to get your approval to test. That’s what I’m waiting on right now. Good luck to you as well, crush it

Yep, been hearing the last cohort complain the whole time about it, but I heard fall is quicker turn around (less schools graduating nurses), we shall see, I'll probably invest in UWORLD and just run through 200+ questions a day. Our last NCLEX pass rate was 98%, but our program is a monster.
