Cant identify this (sensor?) behind my rear view mirror. Mechanic friend thought it was a dealer add on? Searched forums and the web but no luck. If its a temp sensor I dont have a display for it also dont have an alarm.

I would like to install a dash cam but would like to id this before I mess with it. A small connector of about 3 wires comes from under the headliner to this coffin shaped box. Thanks for any help.

I 2nd the picture request, but my wild guess would be a tempature sensor for outside air temp. then again its a 1st gen so idk if you guys have a temp gauge for outside air.

Pic ain't that great but it looks like a remote start antenna.

Remote start or Security system...or both. That's my guess.

As far I know the 1st gens don't have the temp. sensor (well mine does'nt have the auto AC feature). So I'd say its remote start/security/mic for handless.
