Can't Lock the Doors While They're Open???

The last thing I want or need is an app to connect me with my truck. We don’t need to text each other or anything.

 

one time my battery died hours from anywhere I could get a battery and I had keep my truck running. so if i went into the store i would lock it with it running

 

you have to do it from the back seat. close the front doors, then open a back door and hit the lock button on one of the front doors. several uses for this. like last time a got bolt in one of my 35's, i plugged the tire, hooked up the little air compressor, left my truck running, locked the doors and went into lowes to do my shopping. by thr time i was done the tire was full

just remember you have to use the actual key to unlock it

 

I want to ne able to open the door, lock it, toss the keys inside, close the door and be locked out of my truck. Now I can break the windows. Winning!!!

I know what you meant, but I wasn't talking about texting. When I had my truck as new, I used entune app to update the head unit software via USB cable. Now I haven't gotten an update since '21.

The app is for data which there was sports, weather, etc in the head unit, but I don't use that anymore. I have an iPad for everything such as gps, movies, etc.

I left the wallpaper on that screen for good... I don't care about the head unit anymore. Such as TRD logo, picture, etc.
