Can't shift out of 4 low

My 2015 Tacoma is not shifting out of 4 low

 

Turn switch out of lo, back the truck up, stop then going forward is not coming out of lo? Welcome to TW!

if it's a manual make sure the clutch is in as far as it can go

 

It's a automatic and no shifting out of 4 low and backing up and pulling forward is not working

 

How far did you back up when you done it? It can take 15 feet or so

 

I backed up 20 yards or so

So the light on the dash is lit and not flashing indicating that it's in lo?

 

The 4 low light is flashing on the dash and beeping

 

I also coasted forward in neutral and then stopped and backed up slowly

 

Remove the card in your drivers side visor, follow the instructions. /endthread

 

Is the switch stuck on 4lo or is it on 4hi but your indicator light shows its still on 4lo?

 

Lol, did you shift into neutral when you switch back to 4hi like you're supposed to?

 

Must be in neutral BEFORE flipping the switch.

 

I figured it out . Shifting to neutral when turning the 4 wheel drive selector solved the problem . Thanks guys for the help.
