2009 AC SR5 When I turn on the blower fan, the A/C comes on and always on recirculating.. I can turn it outside air but when it is turned off and then on again, it is back to recirculating. Also when the fan is turned on, I cannot turn off the A/C, so as to just bring in outside air. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?
    Thanks,
    Frank

My taco always jumps to A/C and recirculating air when the temperature dial is way on the Max A/C spot. Maybe move it up one spot. Just a thought.

This may be a dumb question, but do you have the temp control knob all the way down to Max in the blue? On my 2010, if the temp control is all the way over to the left, the AC will stay on. You have to turn it counterclockwise slightly for the A/C to turn off.

GuitarGuy beat me too it.

Pretty much every vehicle out there with manual controls is like this. I don't see it as a "flaw". I mean it says right there, "Max A/C" on the temp dial. Seems pretty simplistic to me anyway. Or am I missing something here?

At least we can turn ours off of recirculation. Even when the screen Is off and nothing is on at all Staceys is always on recirculation on her 2014 kia sorento. It won't turn off at all. The dealer said it's normal :/
