I've seen pics here and there and one in person, but I'm looking for a heavy duty canvas type tarp that comes in sizes that could be stretched over a bed rack and used as sort of bikini type cover. Very tightly lashed down with cordage, but heavy enough not to flap like nuts in the wind.

Anyone have a source or some decent photos of such a thing?

You're just looking for top and sides? Not front/back being covered?

The dimensions of the tarp would depend on your bed rack size. What bed rack do you have?

I didn't do much shopping around, but maybe you can find something from these guys, or if you had exact dimensions you could have them make one.

You'll want to put a ton of grommets along all the edges to tie through.

Mine was made with a heavy cotton waxy-coated tarp from Amazon. Comes in various 'standard' sizes.

Pro tip - if you want to try cutting and sewing, be prepared to 'gunk' up the sewing machine. Canvas does have quite a bit of stretch. and can go from taut to loose as temps increase. A decent grommet kit can be picked up at Home Depot. Good Luck

Thanks. Did you like the waxy canvas? I've seen that. Makes it more water resistant.

I went with the 6x8 from Chicago Dropcloth. It wasn't enough material to realize my vision - what I ended up with is 'OK'. If I do-over, I'll start with a larger tarp... I used velcro 'tape' loops (hook on one side, loop on the other) rather than rope and tensioned front-to-back with ratchet straps. I could get it tight as a drum...
