Amen on both accounts! Everything I saw after this was a snake

Had to walk pretty much the whole way back. Did soemthing to my bike that doesn't sound too good.

I think it's a puff adder. When I walked up on it, it like flattened its head out. Never seen that before.

Trying to scare away predators probably.

 

Possible Eastern hognose snake. Harmless ,but I’m not 100% on that . Looking at pics of Texas snakes

 

Yep, otherwise known as hogsnake. But they do call em puff adders here in the US too.

 

Turned up snout . It’s a hognose ,non poisonous but still scary

 

Protect yourself, fuck protecting the snake!

That is a hog nose, we call them spreading vipers around here. I picked one up by the tail by mistake hoeing the watermelon patch one time, I thought it was a stick. May he Rest In Peace.
