That's awesome. I used to go do stuff like this with my dad all the time, miss it a lot.

One of my favorite things we would do was going to the city wide garage sale.

There ya go. My town did something similar at the city hall, I remember I would buy tubs of Legos there for pretty cheap. Since we got a new mayor that garage sale event stopped

 

Nothing better than a stroll thru a bunch of stuff that has untold history...the treasures to be found!

 

Damn, that's a shame. This ones been going on since the 70s here

 

Seriously!! I used to get hung up on model cars and stuff and my dad would have me pressing on for anything fishing related lol

Yep, it's part of the keep austin weird thing. All the vintage stuff around here is still really popular.

 

That ain't weird at all. I love antiques and vintage toys and stuff like that

 

Hell yeah, me too. One day I'd like to go back.

But, I might as well just go to my dads shop haha. Over the years he's accumulated a literal TON of these kinds of things.

For real tho, I'll go to the city wide again some time. My sister continued to go all the way through this year when she moved to Denver.

 

I'm going to go get a few sets in at the gym. Then get some tacos otw home to watch the red river shootout.
