Yep, I gotta get back exercising regularly again. Been battling a few things but I'm ready to go again.

 

Installed window . Took out 2 single pane old windows that were side by side and put in one large Anderson insulated window . My garage is divided into 2 rooms . Left side hunting stuff and right side tools and what not .

Mornin everybody

Went for a nice romp in the snow yesterday

Ive been "juicing" since the day after Christmas. Breakfast is a large smoothie with at least 4-5 different veggies and 4-5 types of fruit. Lunch is some protein (but nothing heavy or greasy) and then dinner is another smoothie. If im still hungry i eat oatmeal with peanut butter

Never really been into dieting but this is working out pretty good so far.

 

Bad ass, I bet that feels good.

I feel ya Brother. My wife and I have been together since 83'. I knew her long before that because she grew up with my cousin who is like a sister to me. We have had some seriously tough times both financially, and mentally. There were some days the arguments got so bad I packed a suitcase because I felt like she deserved better. We worked through them. She's a saint and puts up with my bullshit all the time. I do my best to try to minimize that by doing as much for her as I possibly can. We don't keep any secrets from each other, we share everything. Ours is so much more than a marriage. It's truly a partnership, and our bond grows stronger every day.

I'm not telling you these things to make you more sad Brother, I'm telling you them because I want you to know that like you, I would be completely devastated if we were to part. So I can only imagine how you feel at this point in your life.

However, for a relationship like you had to be healthy, both parties need to be healthy. Not physically, rather mentally. If in her mind she was not happy, then she is not going to be able to grow with you, or worse prevent each of you from growing. There is counseling and maybe later, after she realizes she's less happy now that she thought she was she might be able to consider it. You're willing I'm sure but she has to be as well. Remain open to that possibility but don't drive yourself crazy believing it's definitely happen tomorrow.

When I was growing up we had what I thought was a perfect family. My Dad was in the Marines. We traveled, lived in Hawaii for a while, and always had everything we needed. My Mom didn't have to work. Then when I was 14 she decided she didn't love him any more. I didn't even try to process the reason why back then. All I knew was she hurt my Dad and was destroying our family. She was not on my favorites list for a while. Like a gentleman he moved out and then the double life started. I was becoming a man and working so it was harder to allocate my time to be with both of them. Life sucked.

Eventually they both remarried and remarkably were completely happy again. It didn't make the holidays any easier for me but they were happy so I figured what the hell. As I got older I never asked my Mom how/why, but I wondered WTF happened. How does someone fall outta love? Does it happen like turning off the lights? Or does it happen over time? Those little things that started out just annoying each other escalate to pure hatred for one or both of them? They change appearance or personality and that makes them sick? Maybe there are clinical emotional reasons? Certainly in my case there was never any abuse. Maybe the sex sucked?

For me though, I don't understand it, and I never will. I'm sure you don't either. Unfortunately, for you, the reason is irrelevant to her at this time in her life. If she has been contemplating this for some time, then it is something she struggled with but ultimately decided it was too much for her.

Again, I feel your pain. I don't have the answer either how to make you feel better. Because there is no answer. Only you can make you feel better. We can help, sure, we will, unconditionally, no doubt about it. But your struggle is yours to bear. And I know you are a strong man, with an excellent head on his shoulders, and with as much support as you can stand.

I'll PM you my number and that way if you ever need to just talk to someone that isn't physically in your life, you know, there, I will listen anytime, for as long as you need.

Compared to you, I am still such a newb on here but I rarely forget things like how nice and helpful you've been to me all this time. I've told you before, you're an inspiration, and not only to me, but everyone you touch. Most of us get it, and unfortunately some just can't.
