I haven’t seen a single scorpion yet....

 

I got stung by a scorpion last year. Fucker crawled in my boot! I do shake my boots but somehow that bastard stayed in there.
Also, I got to find the pic of the copper head that struck me last year. I was doing a yard clean up, using my big trimmer.
Removed a big patch in front of me that was knee high, that bastard came up and struck right into my snake boot at the calf. Got his fangs caught in my boot. Was 6’ and was about the size of my forearm..which ain’t small.
Hornets, yellow jackets, wasps, turtles, dogs, and more snakes than I can count...shits real down here in GA.

 

You got lucky with that copper head!

When I lived in the country I would get stung by scorpions several times a year. They just piss me off. I had one go up my pant leg all the way to my crotch, it popped me 7 times before I go my pants off. This was apparently very funny to watch, as my wife couldn’t stop laughing. I could taste electricity in my mouth.

The copper heads were small, but we make up for that in rattlesnakes.

 

Hells yeah! Was a rush, wasn’t my first rodeo. I think my worst snake encounter was when I was 16.

Went over to my gf’s fathers house, where she kept her snake. By snake I mean a fucking +225lb bald python to the likes I had never seen.
It was in a habitat in the back of the house like they made a whole room look like a jungle...anyway.

She gets this thing out of the room carrying it I have no idea how, and puts this thing kinda draped over me.
Not around me by any means, but then in a flash this thing has my arm, and I mean HOLY BALLS my arm is about to be squeezed off! It starts to crush down like a vise!
Get this thing off me now or I am gonna stick with my knife! Then she says, if you do my dad will kill you. I believed her, he was a hells angel. He was also the lead biker at Bike Week in Daytona.

I pleaded with her, Quick!! Get this thing off of me, but she said...You have to Relax?!?! It’s only squeezing cause your tense. I said Fthat this thing thinks it can eat me!
Needless to say it did release, I felt like a dump truck ran over my arm, and I will NEVER EVER handle big snakes again.
