    We used to cut a lot of our own smaller parts and pieces of what we make, then outsourced them when we sold the old waterjet table. We recently got the 4x8 Lincoln Torchmate 4800 to start making our own smaller parts again.
    I do remember 25 pin. Seldom used anymore. They were well on the way out the door when I came into the telecom world

    Do you have a switch handy? I assume it has a default IP address or that you were able to set one using the PC and crossover cable.

    Won't work. Tried that.
    It requires either the PC or controller set to a specified IP addy. I think it comes from the manu made this way, not IT user friendly imo

    What the...that's pretty much unforgivable these days. Even if you removed the crossover cable you wouldn't be able to put it on the network if you can configure the network settings. Or if you did, only one PC would be able to address it. I'll poke around and see if I find anything about this.

    Nah, appreciate it though.

    Nutted up and called tech support. Told them what I want to accomplish and I'll need a USB-Ethernet adapter, no sweat.

    Well at least you'll be able to put the computer on the network with it's NIC and use the USB-ethernet adapter for the PC/table connection.

    I found their VMD software installation instructions. Looks like the default address in on the 192.168.1.X LAN. You might be able to get to it with more than one device if you configure them to use that address space. Hopefully once you have the software installed you'll be able configure the network parameters of the table.

    Heh..sorry if I'm sticking my nose in. This is the kinda stuff I deal with everyday.

    It uses the ethernet crossover from table controller - PC, we will use the USB-Ethernet for network - PC. It's a mini Shuttle PC that came with it (touchscreen too) and it only has one Ethernet port, but a few USB on it.
    It came preinstalled on the PC and everything was supplied, etc...

    This is just so our Engineering dept can send files to the machine and so we can up it to Win 10 Pro and add to domain and get it up to snuff with our standards of security and network abilities. Pain in the neck!

    So does anybody make a 2nd gen ditch light bracket that you don't have to trim?

    @SpruceTaco

    What were yours again?? I liked them the best so far. You need a build page my man.

    Those the ones that mount in the wheel well, or mount in the seam of the hood/front fender?
