    You're completely discounting the R&D (expensive), cost of operating a company in America (expensive) and other costly details, that the Chinese didn't have to pay, to get you to that affordability with your comment about "what little it actually takes to make a bumper".

    A guy here has built a rear bumper (used channel and plate) and a front bumper (all 3/16 plate) for less than $200 cost and only a few hours of his own time. Idk what his hourly pay is, and don't care. But if it's even $20/hour, then the total wouldn't be more than $300 for both bumpers.

    That's my take on this overpriced "niche" BS
