Two of the things I hated when I lived in the snow regions were; 1) melt time, when it was slush and crap everywhere, all over the car/truck, all over you, etc. 2) when it did dry out, there was bunches of sand and gravel that was put down for traction that was all over and took forever for the street crews to clean up.

It's just weather. Why you let that stuff get in the way of a good time? I grill year round. And we hiked yesterday. In snow and rain.
Didn't get to fish. But I did go by the local hatchery and fatten the suckers up. $0.75 and I'm a happy girl, cheap date, just feeding the fishes!
