    I would say it a tracker for either your truck to be identified when being serviced or to track their times on service being done in the shop. IE have the readers at the door to the shop to know when it comes in and goes out. Eliminates that human factor in how much work they are doing per day. They also use them on the lots to track their inventory.

    Been on Carnival twice. I believe I've been on that ship on one of the cruises but it was based out of either Tampa or Port Canaveral.
