Do you know the length?

I put on a 13" Antenna X and all was fine until I installed a 50" radius light bar. The bar interferes with reception and causes sporadic break ups.

To be honest - I have never even actually listened to my radio. I use the XM radio about 90% of the time or blue tooth on the phone.

I replaced the factory one because it was hitting my carport cover at home. I can take a measurement for ya later today if you want.

Although I was also thinking of cutting my OEM down to roof height.

I've read of others doing this, but how that would work.

 

I think they just pull the little ball off the top and trim that sucker down - then maybe put some super glue inside the ball and stick it back on.

I would have just done that if i knew it was possible before i paid for practically the same thing.

 

That's what I read as well. I'm tired of spending unnecessarily too.
