So will probably skip lunch on account of the large breakfast I had.

Morning. Saw a pretty cool taco with plate bumpers in Corpus. No pics tho. To me it lost some of the coolness with its fishing rod holders and salt life stickers.

 

Where were the rod holders mounted?

I think Im going to mount a couple to my steel tailgate skin

So when Im surf fishing and the gate is up, both rods will have their holder.

And I dont have to mess with any PVC holders anymore

It was mounted on the front bumper on a hitch mount.

Whichever works for you works best. I wadefish the flats with 6'-7' one piece rods with lures and have no need for 8-10 rods hanging off a bumper.

If maybe I do fish the beach it's with lures and my bay fishing rods or maybe, maybe my two piece 9' rod with 600 yards of 150# power pro (same reel I take tuna fishing) and put it in a pvc tube sunk in the sand.

I've delt with enough theft here and keep my rods in the cab or maybe will build a rack inside my shell down the road. I don't like having my rods out in plain sight for people to take.
