My buddy just got back from his flight out of state. His town home may flood again. He lives right next to this bayou.



I hope he started moving all his furniture upstairs. I'm sure after this, FEMA will just go ahead and buy out the place. It's already flooded 2x in two years.

 

At least his flight wasn't cancelled. Water damage and the mold that follows sucks.

 

At least with my job, I can go full on duck dynasty/Aaron Kaufman if I want lol. Also mark, we're gonna need pics

 

Jelly. I don't I have any pics, it's just been so long since I could. After all my job changes and moving, doubt I'll find one. I know it's been at least 10 years.

 

On the way to my friends house. A tree fell over as a pickup truck was driving underneath it, came down on the roof and ripped his tailgate off as he was driving out from under it. Lucky guy, walked away without a scratch.

 

I just saw Galveston where my grandmother lives. It's flooding already in the strand. And the storm hasn't even started strengthening.

 

I'm out of country still. But my home and Taco in Corpus Christi are damage free.

 

Really glad to hear this, been wondering.

 

Lots of rain yesterday and today but so far we've been high and relatively dry. Several hundred pinecones in my yard right now that got knocked out of the trees by wind and rain but other than that no damage. Near my mom's house in Texas City has had some higher water but the breaks between storms seem to be letting it drain off so their houses haven't had any water damage so far. I hope all my TW family are well and safe!
