Many women carrying around here just put them in their purse, and don't have the special CCW purses with the built-in hidden holster. There was a woman in San Antonio whose kid accidentally shot her with an LCP .380 when he was rummaging in the purse for a toy or some such. A lady here had an accidental discharge on a Lady Smith when her fingernail police bottle got in to the trigger loop. Both had been through CCW training an ignored it.

Men wear holsters. While we tend to get hurt doing other stupid stuff, we are good about holsters.

My wife carries a revolver in her purse in a "holster" like this in a dedicated pouch but i definately recomend a mic minimum for any carry

 

JHP/FMJ staggered mags in 40 and 7.62. Slugs or buck in shotty. HP in .22. Hornady HP always in the .38
