Having a horrible time figuring out what to get my wife for her 50th. What do you get for a woman who gets whatever she wants before she buys it for herself?

I mean, besides James Avery charms (and she has a butt load) and throwing her a surprise party with her sister, I think I'll just load her Starbucks card and decorate the place.

Maybe if I promise to get her whatever she wants on Black Friday...

 

An excessive amount of flowers?

I dunno man, I'm not good at this thing.

 

I usually go with a sympathy card.

 

She doesn't like cut flowers. Considers them a waste of money. I grow real ones for her so they don't die right after they're cut.

We also just up and buy stuff when we need it.

This is hard.

My wife is the same way with thinking flowers are a waste of money.

She sounds like me. When I need/want something I get it. Amazon's a wonderful thing. Maybe ask her if there's something she wants. That's what MsWalla's and I have learned to do with each other. Her Bday is later this month and she asked for a yoga mat. I mentioned a wireless dual probe grill thermometer. That way we both get something we'll appreciate and use instead of that thing "you just know they'll love" that ends up in a closet.
