    After 50 years.....yes, 50 years of debating the need for another bridge to cross the Ohio River @ Louisville, we finally got TWO bridges that they can't pay for. So they're tolled. $4everytime a car crosses. As much as $20 for trucks. The tolling is done electronically. The bills are mailed WITH A DUE DATE SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE THE BILL IS POSTMARKED. $4 with a $5 late fee.

    Traffic moves, but the cost is outrageous. And then $.98 of each dollar tolled goes to administrative cost. $.02 cents to pay for the bridges. It is estimated the bridges will last 55 years.....and take 75 years to pay for them.
