I'd bet every dollar I've ever made that my FIL is NOT my wife's father.

My wife looks nothing like anyone in her family. Plus, I know for a fact that her dad was gone 3 to 4 days a week traveling back and forth a great deal between late 1968 and mid 1970. My wife was born in August of '70.

And if that weren't enough, we found out a few years ago that mom was a bit promiscuous in her young adult days. That could have easily extended into her 30's

I say thank you to whoever her father is. 'Cause my wife one smokin' hot piece of ass.

 

It's a lot like what Rodney Carrington says about tits. "There's no such thing as bad ones....there's only good ones and better ones".

 

Went to get lunch at Blimpie. Guy walks in and tells me "You've got some balls man!" I just turn around and ignore him thinking he's just your normal idiot that runs around. Then he says "You need to go turn your ambulance off, now!". I politely said we're not allowed to do that. Oh course my go fuck yourself level just went to 10 at this point. Then he says it again and I just turn around again and ignore him. The lady at Blimpie says "Be nice Murph." then she says it again. The the guy proceeds to say "You're a fucking asshole!". I kept my mouth shut even though I was tempted to cuss this fucker out. He was about 3 seconds from a talk with a Deputy. He walks back outside and sits down on the porch and continue's eating. His wife/gf gets up and walks back to their truck and sits there leaving him on the porch eating. When we walk out (we were just there to get something to go) and I hear him mutter something over there. Started to sit there for about 5 minutes with the back up beeper going but decided fuck it. 5 years and I won't have to deal with shit like this anymore. I had a nice 6" meatball and a cup of chili though.

Apparently he wasn't quite aware of how big an asshole I really can be.

 

What a dick, should’ve tested the sirens out.

 

And the air horn. Would of been awesome under than porch.

 

Maybe with a little karma you will have to respond to a medical emergency he might be having one day!

 

That's what I told my partner. I said I can assure you, I will see him again one day.

 

He was a retired Army guy too. Looked like Paul Teutle Sr. His wife/gf was fucking pissed at him too.

How don’t people know that EMS and fire trucks have to remain in standby mode? Those big diesels can’t just up and go.

I've never seen a ambulance or fire truck sitting somewhere not running. Plus I can't park it around the corner because I'm responsible for the drug box on it. It's not leaving my sight.

I just lit 3 pieces of KB to get the wood chunks going once they start, it generally stays under 80 with a pan of ice. Right now it's running at 66 with a nice thin blue smoke coming out. I'm only doing this batch for 2 hours as they are intended as xmas gifts for my family. I also just texted my wife with a link to a Amazen Pellet Tube smoker for a xmas gift for me. This set up works, but it can be a pain and would be much easier with a pellet tube.

That sums it up perfectly.
