Trying to install the led bar and it's the old shitty design. I dropped a bolt and of course they don't give you extra so I'm contorting all around trying to find the damn thing lol

Yes it does. It’s a weird issue, in my opinion. Thought more about it while I was driving home today from our trip. We bought the truck used. It’s a 2014 and we’ve had it since 2016. It was in great shape with low miles. The small circular speaker in the driver door sounded weird and it bothered me for a long time and I was going to get it replaced. It was rattling basically since we bought it.

The last few weeks, the door itself was making a very slight and odd noise. Almost like it wasn’t closing all the way. Today, after the window/lock switch panel came loose, the speaker sounded normal, but the door noise grew louder.

Now, I’m thinking the window/lock switch panel was always a little loose and caused the speaker to sound weird.

I’m hoping it’s an easy fix. I’ve also got major clutch squeak, which is really starting to get on my nerves, and the mirror or whatever the known issue is that creates howling at highway speeds when the wind is right is now doing it from both sides.

All minor things that are getting on my nerves. That, and my wife clipped the passenger mirror backing out of the garage. It’s fully functional and only a small piece broke, but it’s really bothering me too.

Light bar installed. Time for bed. I didn't know how to angle it so it's about the same as my high beams which I'm hoping with throw it some distance. I'll test it out later this week in the back roads but it lit up my damn garage like a UFO lol.

 

The switch panel should be a easy fix there is a screw to hold the controls into the panel. My case the plastic piece that the screw screws into broke. I re glued that piece back used it that way until the new one came in. If the speaker is bad I have a set of OEM you can have if you cover shipping.

 

morning staying home today. Looks like my wife hurt her back off to see the DR.

 

Gonna be nice to see home........in about 18hrs. Hope they find a solution. Back pain is totally debilitating.

Sorry to hear that. That stuff def would annoy me too. Hope they aren't horrible expensive fixes.

Up since 3am. Woke to 3" of wet snow hanging from tree limbs and power lines. Got ready and went in to work to beat traffic. Here by 4:30. Hardly any snow here. So. Stretched out on the floor in main dining room. In front of a gas fireplace and tookan hour nap. Woke up and unlocked the building. Got a couple contractors coming in. Once they're here, I go home.
