I did a thing today.

Haven't tried it. In fact haven't even looked to see if they're carrying it around here yet.

So my 10 year old has gotten into sculpting with this high-end clay. So much so that my wife bought her some special tools. The kit has several tools in it...sticks, scrapers and such. She's done a number of beautiful pieces. But this one stood out. It's perfectly shaped and painted. Great detail. Even has 3 dimensional eyes.

Now perhaps that doesn't seem all that impressive. But here's the kicker. The thing is about the size of your thumbnail. It's tiny. I had to get the phone right on it to take the picture.

 

She did a awesome job!

 

That's really good. Took a lot of patience to do that and she is showing some skill to get that much detail on such a small piece.

 

I know. Very impressive. She's done some other cool things as well....flowers, food, etc. All very detailed.

At 10 years old I was playin' with my pecker, pickin' my nose and spending time in the principle's office.
