GL. Those compressors eat a ton of amps. Highly recommend getting a small air tank.

 

Ok, I've got very limited space to mount it.

How small of a tank could I get away with?

Depends on where you locate it. Bed? Cab? All depends on how much you wanna mess with it.

I run the small compressor for lockers. Doing a 10lb C02 tank that'll live in the bed for tires & tools.

FWIW, big compressor draw:
@0psi, 28amps; @29psi, 50amps.

Small compressor draw:
@0psi, 14amps; @29psi, 25amps.

My VIAIR 400P does 23A at max load.


Big compressor may be better with a dual battery setup. Especially by then you may be running a ton of other devices (lights, fridges, etc)

Much of Louisville's newer parks are privately owned/managed. They want $$$$$$ for video rights to drone footage.

1. Why do you need OBA/lockers? Just save the money for 4wd or a new toy? If you're going to be getting more & more into wheeling why bother dumping money into useless things on this rig? (Not that OBA/lockers is useless, but on a 2wd it kinda is)

2. Do you have any of them TopGun patches that you don't want?
