I'm sure it's lost some quality already. Luckily I have one of the Sony super 8 players so I can transfer it myself. I'll just need to get one of the video converters to plug the rca's into the desktop.

 

One of the best places was very far up north. It was its own ecosystem for millions of years before the glaciers receded so whatever lived there were absolutely giant monsters. Couple guys scored Ph.D. Degrees with the discovery. Words cannot describe the things I saw down there & I had to swear I would never disclose the location. I'd like to see the place stay that way long after I'm gone.

 

The first one I ever did was pretty big. Went down to 90' in the cavern to the cave entrance. The cave entrance was blasted shut after 5 or 6 divers had died in it. This was way back before the training had gotten to making it a lot safer. There's a bowling ball on the other side of this big rock where people have tried to regain access to the cave by hitting the rock and they dropped the bowling ball. The cavern is fill with huge eel's. Really neat to see. I doubt that one will ever be open again though. The maps I have of it show a penetration to 300 feet if I remember right before getting to a impassible restriction.


There another one called Diepolder on Boy Scout land in Florida that is massive. Here's a pic of it.

Yeah it's best to keep those private. Sad that something like that has to stay a secret but people just don't respect things anymore.

Rained all day yesterday then started again today at around 2 o’clock.

 

I’ll take any rain anyone wants to get rid of. It’s horribly dry here, sprinkling here right now but we are not supposed to get much.

 

Don't know where you are at but we 4/10 tenth's at the farm in Jacksboro this morning, we needed it bad.

 

We just got shy of an inch & everything is gaspin' a sigh of relief. But all fire & off road is still banned.

 

We're getting pretty regular rain. It's slowing progress up pretty good.

Edit: move progress, we could use the rain though.

 

I’m north of Kansas City Misery. I was just at the farm and we have had less than a 10th so far. We are like 7 inches of rain short for the year.

 

Push it over this way, you ain’t that far away!

Have to get Oklahoma to suck harder. Oops!! My Bad!!!

 

Corn and beans are up but I’ve got pretty sandy soil so they are hurting.

 

What's the almanac predicting this year for your area?

 

I don’t have a clue, never believed it that to much. Kind of like listening to the weatherman! It changes hourly!
